Jewish settlement in the Bronx began in earnest in the first decade of the twentieth century. The Bronx YM-YWHA began in this period. The Bronx YM-YHWA had had several homes before the address they found themselves in at the time of the publication of this anniversary issue. In the 1950s they would abandon their building in Crotona Park in the Claremont section of the Bronx and immigrate to a new facility and a new name, The Riverdale YM-YWHA located at 5625 Arlington Ave. It is a drive of over eight miles. This journal may be part of a run of issues in the NYPL Dorot division collection, but is not otherwise locatable.
