Foreword by Hugh M. Davis. With the article "Breath of Air, Breath of Stone," by Pier Luigi Tazzi. Kapoor's minimalism is both physical and purist. This humble volume tries to match that aesthetic. Kapoor was born in Mumbai to a Hindu father and Baghdadi Jewish mother. It was during his time in Israel as a young man that he decided to become an artist. There is no attempt that I am familiar with to relate the artists origins to his body of work.
