Small octavo, black cloth spine, edgeworn and shelfworn printed paper covered boards, soiled endpapers, 101 pp., with pencil notes and excisions made apparently by someone performing or directing the play (all of the original words are still clearly visible). This was orinally a paperback and has been bound to preserve it some time ago. The binder was sloppy. Pages 17-32 are bound between pages 100 and 101. Fair. Item #60179

Text is in Yiddish. A usable copy of a book that shows a lot of history, a history that illuminates in an elusive way the history of the work inself and of the community that held it.
