Many Jewish artists are represented: Alexander Archipenko, Marc Chagall, Amadeo Modigliani, Jules Pascin, Chaim Soutine and Maurice Utrillo. The group of four Archipenkos may well have been the largest collection of in private hands at the time of the sale.
