The Scroll was a project that was iniated by Rabbi Martin Meyer with the Religious School of Congregation Emanu-El. The April 1925 issue was the first issue that appeared after Meyer's 1924 suicide. The last issues discuss and illustrate the new buliding that was completed in 1927. The last issue includes a review of the Emanu-El production of "The Dybbuk," by Anski which was the first production to "The Dybbuk" in America. It was produced with the aid of members of the Habima company that had produced the original production in the Soviet Union.
