Inside Liberated Poland.
by Strong, Anna Louise.
National Council of American-Soviet Friendship
Small octavo, stapled paper covers, 48 pp. Yellowed paper
Anna Louise Strong was "the first American to meet and talk with the members of the Polish Army who aided the Red Army in clearing Poland of the German invaders." Strong was a pro-Soviet propagandist, but this pamphlet is quite useful in the picture of the fall of Poland to the Soviet army. There is a brief account of the liberation of the Lodz ghetto (where only 800 still survived). There is not mention of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising.
